If you prefer to eat in, just bring your groceries and you should find our fully equipped kitchen to have everything that you need to prepare your meals.
Our kitchen features an electric oven, stove, and microwave.
For our guests who love their morning coffee, we offer a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig.
You will rest well on this comfortable king size bed each night of your stay.
Don't want to get out of bed? No problem! We have a second 55 Inch Smart TV so that you can watch your favorite shows or movies without ever having to leave the comfort of the bed.
The memory foam mattress on the king bed and super soft sheets will help you wake up refreshed and ready for a new day of adventure.

You don't want to miss the quant shops, amazing German food, and delicious German beer that you can find in White Horse Square in Downtown Helen.

Paul's Margarita deck is a favorite local spot to enjoy some cool drinks and watch the tubers float down the Chattahoochee River in the summer months.
Don't miss a vist to the Helen Hat Company where you'll find all kinds of unique hats and you'll get a photo op with the giant wooden Yeti posted up outside of the store.
Yonah Coffee will serve you up a delicious cup of hot coffee to get your day going in Alpine Helen.
If the dog days of summer are in full swing and hot coffee doesn't sound like the way to go, Yonah Coffee can hook you up with an amazing iced coffee too!
No trip to our area is complete without a visit to the Hansel and Gretel Candy Kitchen. With freshly made fudge and a variety of other sweet treats including chocolate dipped apples that are to die for, you don't want to miss this stop in town.
Alpine Brew deck is a great spot to enjoy wings, burgers, and a cold drink while you watch the tubers navigate their way down the Chattahoochee River.
Christoff's is a neat little spot to grab a tasty caramel corn snack.
Betty's Country Store on the north end of Helen offers all of the basic groceries that you could need including fresh meats and veggies. Their selection of vintage candies is unmatched, and Betty's Porch is a great spot to hang out.
The gazebo in Unicoi Hill Park on the north end of time is a nice spot for a photo op or just a shady spot to rest your legs and people watch.
The windmill at the Heidi Motel is probably one of the most photographed buildings in Helen.
Helen features three mini golf courses including Pirates Cove located near the river. There is no shortage of fun to be found!
Take a short ride around town on the train. This is a neat little treat, especially if you are traveling with little ones.
Horse draw carriages are available downtown for a romantic ride through town with the one you love.
The Georgia Mountain Coaster is the only mountain coaster of its kind in our area. Prepare for a thrilling ride that is unlike anything else in Helen.
When the weather is warm, Cool River Tubing is the place for fun. Not only do they offer tube rides down the river but also a ropes course that you will find fun and challenging.
Cool River Tubing offer both one hour and two-hour tubing options and Helen Tubing and Waterpark offers another option for those looking to shoot the 'Hooch.
These tubers are cooling off on a hot day with a lazy float down the river.
Both local tubing companies drop you off on the north end of town and pick you up right in the middle of town. This gives you ample time to cool off and enjoy the sites and sounds of Helen.
Both tubing companies offer shuttles that will take you up to the insertion point so that you can float down to where you park.
This is an overhead view of Alpine Mini Golf that is one of our favorite courses in town. Once you've played around don's miss grabbing some ice cream at Scoop de Scoop ice cream shop that is right there on site.
The cabin is just minutes from Unicoi State Park that is a great spot to visit for the day. Smith Creek runs through the park and there is a small lake where you can enjoy the beach, paddle boards, and kayaks as well as fishing.
You will find Anna Ruby Falls to be just a short drive from the cabin. This is a gorgeous waterfall with a paved path all the way up from the parking lot to the falls.
Smithgall Woods is another one of our beautiful state parks that is a quick drive from the cabin. It's a great spot for a picnic or a hike and is home to Dukes Creek which offers some of the best trout fishing in the area.
If being outdoors is what you love, you will be surrounded by so many beautiful parks and hiking trails nearby that you'll never want to leave.
Sunburst Stables is just a short drive away and offers horseback riding, ziplines, and ATVs.
